Rods on the River has changed their name slightly.
I had to change the name slightly, why? The show was suppose to be in down town at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch but because of the construction on 787 above the city would not grant the permit. Also the date was disqualified due to another large gathering going on in the city on the same day. The I.A.C.C. was gracious enough to allow the show at there pavilion and lawn. It will be a great day I have alot of things planned. I hope you all can make it.

My name is Fred Peters and I am planning a benefit
automobile & motorcycle show in Albany NY. The proceeds of this event will
go directly to the Albany Permanent
Professional Firefighters Association (APPFA) L2007 Widows & Children’s
Fund and The Ronald McDonald House.
I am requesting a
sponsorship donation to help reach our $10,000.00 goal for the 2 charities.
The APPFA L2007 Widows and Children’s fund was set up
several years ago by a committee of firefighters from my union to help the
wives and children of firefighters that died in the line of duty or became
stricken with a debilitating disease; and needed extended care. We found these
families struggling to meet the minimums in their household’s like utility
bills, mortgages, and child care just to name a few. This fund helps those
struggling families to get past a very hard time in their lives.
The Ronald McDonald House of the Capital Region promotes the
health, development, and well being of children and their families. The Ronald
McDonald House program started in 1974 based on a simple idea of providing a
safe home away from home for families of severely ill children receive care at
local hospitals.The Widows &
Children’s fund and The Ronald McDonald House are both dedicated charities
helping families that are in need. To meet our goal we would appreciate your
help with a generous donation from your organization.
The donation forms are below please take time look it over. Please feel free to contact me at rodsontheriver@gmail.comIf you have a car truck or bike please register and attend
